Golden Corral's 9^th annual Military Appreciation Monday dinner was a huge success honoring over 335,000 veterans and active duty military with a free dinner buffet and beverage. All Golden Corral restaurants nationwide participated in this event to honor our military heroes, past and present.

Golden Corral restaurants and guests collected a record total of over $808,000 for the Disabled American Veterans organization to be used by state and local chapters to assist veterans.

To date, Golden Corral restaurants have provided over 2.5 million free meals and contributed over $4.1 million to the Disabled American Veterans organization.

November 15, 2010 will mark the 10th anniversary of Golden Corral's Military Appreciation Monday dinner.

The free dinner meal is a special "thank you tribute" to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to join us for Golden Corral's Military Appreciation Monday dinner.

Golden Corral and the Disabled American Veterans organization will sponsor the 21th annual National Memorial Day Concert was held on May 30, 2010 shown live on all PBS TV stations. This will be the fifth year of sponsorship by Golden Corral and the Disabled American Veterans organization.

The multi-award winning National Memorial Day Concert, co-hosted by acclaimed actor Gary Sinise and Joe Montegna is the premier memorial service for the United States military, honoring those who have given their lives, the returning wounded and their families.

No identification is required for the service member

Who is eligible for the free "thank you" dinner?
Any person who has served in the US Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves)

Why does Golden Corral provide this dinner?
Our Corporation is very proud of the men and women who are serving and who have served and we are honored to offer this special night to congratulate them in person.

Can I bring my family?
We know that spouses, children, and mothers and fathers deserve a heart-felt thank you too for their own personal sacrifices here at home.
Family and friends are welcome to come join the celebration for our military heroes; however, the free ‘thank you' dinner is for the person who served, other guests will pay the regular dinner menu pricing.

Holiday Greets sent to Troops Stationed Overseas

Golden Corral restaurant management teams and their guests have written over 110,000 post cards for our troops deployed overseas. Individual post cards carried messages of encouragement and thanks along with good will wishes for those stationed away from home during the Holidays. The post cards were delivered by "Operation Thank You", a Columbia, South Carolina based non-profit organization founded by Brian Bohlman, a military Chaplain.
